Fake 32GB Kingston flash drives sold on ebay France

Posted on May 14, 2009 by

textiworld An ebay seller registered in France has listed this fake 32GB Kingston flash drive. Buyers should test immediately with h2testw. We are fairly sure this a fraudulently re-programmed 4GB drive – so most users will not run into trouble for some time.

However after some time users will lose most if not all their files. One buyer has already left negative feedback saying the item is fake so it seems that textiworld is probably a deliberate fraudster as honest sellers test their drives and remove their listings immediately they discover their items are fake.

The negative feedback comment left for textiworld on 30th March is shown below.

If you bought one of these you should test immediately with h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
