The FrankenFlash Project has spent 10 months cleaning up no name brands sold on eBay. The number of fake flash sellers peddling their wares has decreased, allowing brand names to surface. One would have assumed eBayers could now buy decent usb flash drives. That day has not yet arrived.

Alarming is that both fake Corsair Voyager 64GB sold at high prices, approximately at 70% of the current lowest prices available from reputable internet discount sellers. This is something just to good to pass up – the profits just too good. eBay is just a distribution selling place. These counterfeits come from the Orient – China. Please note that Corsair according their forum does not manufacture in China. There is no warranty from them for counterfeit items.
