Transcend now joins Sony and Kingston as brand names to have counterfeit USB Flash Drives sold on eBay. The model reported to SOSFakeFlash was the old JetFlash V30. This drive was only made up to 16GB in size. Transcend, like Kingston uses colour coding.
Sold on eBay by hellopetpet was a 32GB Flash drive.
Notice the colour band is green. The colour coding chart for the JetFlash V30 shows:
So green would be a 4GB usb flash drive and not a 32GB flash drive. The ebayer who performed the testing with H2testw 1.4 reported what size? 4GB!

do NOT buy these people … I went and bought one to test if it was real ITS NOT!!! its actually a 4GB transcend flashdrive flashed to look like it can hold 32GB … it is slow wont work in ya car music usb reader … and any data over 3.8GB loaded onto it will read as corrupt when you try to open it …

You right there, i have also purchased a 32gb v30 and am having a problem with it..
When i load data and files on it, the files will show and work like music, but the data like software or movie files will not work.. It takes the space and loads onto the flash but when put into a media player or another computer it wont work..
I head that transcend never make 32gb green flash drives in v30, is that TRUE..???
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!

What is wrong with ebay? I have offered them my crime fighting services before( told them I can sniff fakes from a mile away). I never mentioned any remuneration except genuine expenses like ebay and paypal fees.
Where is the army of paid ebay security guards?
As an ex mystery shopper,I think ebay has a lot to learn. Hopefully fast !
