leadingstore is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Flash USB drives, Memory Cards and MP Players. Based in China leadingstore is skilled in fake flash selling. SOSFakeFlash Published an alert on this seller on October 30th, 2008 Alert – leadingstore – Ebay Fake Flash Seller

At that time this seller had only been investigated for fake usb flash drives. As with most powersellers who engage in selling fake flash devices, leadingstore took a holiday when things heated up and then just crawl back to sell more. The case of leadingstore is just one more example of how ineffective eBay is in challenging and removing such sellers – permanently.

Let’s face it, from our observations over the months there is only one conclusion – fake flash powersellers rule eBay, not the other way around.

Small wonder there have been so many victims over so many years. Most deeply buried in eBay’s databases and of course tracks wiped clean on the internet. Well, not quiet.

  • Would you like to see the current collection of fakes sold by leadingstore?
  • Do you know who the master is behind the leadingstore id on eBay?
  • Do you want to understand the problem of fake flash on eBay and how the FrankenFlash Project and these websites came to be?

Leadingstore belongs to? Surprise. Zhong Lisha!

Oh yes…the same person connected to:

  • kaho.chan
  • Shopwithmela
  • 3totrade
  • Whatcools
  • pengsoloshow

We gave him the name “Don Of Fake Flash In the Orient” and for good reason. In fact to his credit, he inspired the creation of the FrankenFlash Project. He is tricky. He is devious. He demonstrates only too clearly what is wrong with eBay. He has used eBay to fraud so many eBayers. Because of him so much data has been lost. And because of him, we learned. From? Him!

We waited. We watched. We prepared. We then began to nail his id’s one by one. How? Warning his buyers to test their drives when they arrived and not to leave positive feedback until and unless they could confirm they had received the advertised capacity. It goes without saying – anyone who did test found out they had not received the advertised capacity. Victims left negatives. Victims contacted eBay and PayPal. Victims began contacting other suspected victims. eBay and Paypal did nothing – but eBayers did.

Why eBay members have to do the dirty work of eBay and PayPal is beyond us. They are supposed to be here to provide us with service and to protect us. Oh, they do spin about buyer protection but as all victims of fake flash devices know – it is only spin. Not truth. We learned the hard way, the painful way. Many of Zhong Lisha’s victims never got a penny back. PayPal made people go through hell in trying to claim. Most of the time they slammed the cases shut. They ordered eBayers to return the drives. Many did not understand this behavior.

Why do I have to return the crime back to the criminal! At my own expense! Why am I being forced into violating the laws of my country – to use the postal system for traffic in fake and counterfeit goods?

Only a tiny faction of victims of these eBay seller id’s were ever reached. Of those contacted many did not understand the problem in time. Fewer tested and learned the truth. If you check the number of investigated fakes for these seller id’s at SOSFakeFlash on the eBay Fake Flash Sellers list you will find the numbers impressive all the same. Getting rid of these id’s was a serious objective and we seem to have only one left to deal with. leadingstore.

The campaign against the Don Of Fake Flash in the Orient started in spring of 2008. Many eBayers did their duty and signed on for fake flash angel missions. It was hard work and exhausting. It went on for months. If you ever wonder how this website and the others came to be – it was because of all the hard work these early fake flash angels put in – the pioneers. It was because of the dark things they discovered on eBay. How difficult it was to address the issue. How little eBay and Paypal were willing to do to address a problem that goes back 6 years.

Fake Flash Angels come and go. Recently eBay has been viciously attacking these good souls for the work they have done and are doing. It is pretty ugly. And being victimized a third time is not amusing. It only confirms all the things we have been saying at the websites and why we will document and continue to document for the global public. Fake Flash Angels will sprout new wings.

The reason we have so much evidence is because we took the fight to where it belonged – into eBay.

It is working. But it is far from over. The FrankenFlash Project has seen quiet moments before. Then when fake flash sellers think the coast is clear, they start up again.

One very clear example of this is the leadingstore eBay id. It appears to be the last flag ship of fake flash the Don has left. But you never know. He is quick on his feet and determined. He cares nothing for his victims. Manipulates eBay and Paypal on a string. Feels absolutely nothing for China, but has embraced the worst trait – GREED. The author finds this sad, as it means all the sacrifices made by recent generations in China were for absolutely nothing if the end result is the creation of Zhong Lishas.
