This item has been reported as fake capacity with test results and all information required for the item to be entered in the sosfakeflash database. If you bought a flash drive from this seller we suggest you test it immediately with h2testw. Fake capacity flash drives inevitably cause file loss and corruption of data.
Sellers – please remember that it is your responsibility to check that flash memory items you sell on ebay are are not fake or faulty. We have had a number of sellers complaining that we are destroying their reputations. We are not destroying their reputations – they are doing it themselves by selling counterfeit and fake capacity flash memory. We simply report what we find. If you are a seller you should test your items with h2tesw before listing them on ebay. If they pass this test then they are ok – if not you risk landing on our blogs if you sell them on ebay.

To work out a solution both seller and buyer had to climb over the paypal walls. See this comment:

either paypal is short on money or just being extra witchy. I am wondering Grant…just how many claims are they getting against sellers these days for fake flash items?
It is, or it was big business with juicy fees. But if they have to refund, where does their profit go? Given that PayPal is or was a sub company of eBay you would think they would finally work together to clean up their act.
We think eBay and especaily PayPal are more peeved then the fake flash sellers. Sunny fake flash profit days are gone, stormy angry buyer clouds have arrived. And they are here to stay…until they address this 5 year old issue.
What do victims have to say?
“Buyer Protection”
Ha! It’s only spin, not truth. They don’t care about the consumer, only reaching into the consumers wallet and those graspy little fingers will just not let go!
